Are you struggling to find content for all of your social platforms? You write a blog, film a short video, a podcast episode and before you know it, you’ve rand out of ideas to post about. If this sounds like you, then I have a great tip to help maximize your content creation to get the most out of it.

When it comes to content, a lot of content creators, marketing professionals, and business owners will create 4 separate forms of content:
- Short-form: Think quotes, sharing a quick tip or simply an image.
- Long-form: Think blog posts, how-to’s, guides, educative pieces, podcasts, etc.
- Video Content: This can be short-form video (TikTok, reels, etc) or long-form video (Vlogs, guides, how-to’s, and courses)
- Podcasts: Pretty self explanatory
In my experience, most people tend to create a separate piece of content for each kind of post. Which, at the core works. However, you’ll burn though content quickly and eventually run out of ideas – and unavoidably hit writer’s block. Additionally, you aren’t maximizing the reach of your content. If you use one (1) piece of content for each form, then that individual piece of content only lives on that one post for that one platform. Let me give you an example of using a quote as content.
Okay, So how do you maximize your content reach when you’re struggling to find content? The answer might surprise you.
Repurposing content. Yep. You read that right. You can get more out of one individual piece of content by repurposing it across multiple platforms and strategies. Let’s use the quote again to lay out an example.
So you can see that by repurposing content, you can maximize your reach and the amount you get from one idea by simply repurposing it.
